Module 9 - Programming for Students with Special Needs: From Policy to Practice
Programming for Students with Special Needs: From Policy to Practice is a three day professional development module intended to support educators in developing, implementing, and evaluating programming for students with special needs. The module focuses on:
- framework legislation, policies and Student Services documents which define the mandate of the public education system regarding the education of students with special needs
- roles and responsibilities of administrators, classroom teachers, resource/learning centre teachers, and parents in the program planning process
- implementation and monitoring of Adaptations and IPPs with an emphasis on common pitfalls and how to avoid them.
Registration Fees: $308 + HST = $354.20
